Country Overview

Welcome to México

Mexico is a great place to go if you want to get away from the cold and have some fun. Its diverse destinations include long stretches of white or brown sand beaches, forests, jungles, archaeological sites, modern and colonial cities, and, combined with the country’s wonderful climate and friendly people, they offer a diverse range of experiences, landscapes, and activities to make your vacations with family or friends one to remember.

We live in a land rich in textures, colors, and flavors. You’ll find all sorts of crafts, including wooden masks, black clay pots, rugs painted with organic dyes, leather bags, embroidered clothing, shoes, hats, and a wide variety of other handicrafts, all made from natural materials and shaped with ancestral techniques inherited from our proud indigenous peoples and passed down through multiple generations, displaying the unmistakable diversity that defines us.

Visitors in Mexico are welcomed with open arms. It makes us proud to display our culture and its beauty, which has been represented in places (now archaeological) and colonial heritage where the history of what is now our country has been documented since ancient times.

Our country is also known for its rich gastronomy; Mole, Tamales, and Chiles Rellenos are just a few of the world-famous dishes that can be found in a small town fonda or a world-famous restaurant.

There’s also a wide range of tacos to choose from that will make you fall in love!!! Tacos are a staple of our cuisine; you can find them in any neighborhood of any city, and each region has its own specialties and variations. We recommend that you try “Los Tacos Mexicanos,” a single meal that offers a wide range of flavors. But Mexican cuisine is so much more than tacos that UNESCO classified it as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2010.

A country where cultural diversity, customs, and natural beauty blend to transport visitors to bygone eras, and where the kindness of its inhabitants ensures a cheerful and attentive service accompanied by a big smile.
